I am pleased to announce my candidacy for State of Florida, House of Representatives, District 47. Below are my experience, qualifications, and goals as your representative.

I have been practicing law for over 28 years, primarily in the area of Social Security disability law.

My professional activities include past membership on the military law committee of the Florida Bar Association, sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives and National Organization of Veterans Advocates, member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and past chairman of the Social Security Law section.

My governmental experience includes working as an Assistant State Attorney, a traffic hearing officer, and as a member of the Hillsborough County Healthcare Advisory Board.

I have had the unique experience of having run this for this office in 2002, having won the Democratic nomination in a three-way primary. I have a good understanding of the issues which are being addressed by our state legislature, and will be ready to be an effective representative upon taking office.

I have a proven track record as a small business owner, having a successful law practice with 17 employees. I am confident I will be able to help us achieve our collective goals, and can devote the time necessary to be an effective and responsive legislator.
